Families desiring to enroll their children in a school outside of their boundary area may request a transfer. Visit our Student Transfer page for more information.
Families who wish to home school their children will need to register with the Linn Benton Lincoln Educational Service District (LBL ESD). For more information about homeschooling, visit the LBL ESD website.
Children enrolled in home school may participate in extracurricular activities and select classes at their boundary school, as space is available. For more information read the District Policy IBDJA.

Corvallis School District sponsors one Charter School, Muddy Creek Charter School (MCCS). For information about MCCS, visit the MCCS website.
The Corvallis School Board reviews the percentage of resident students attending Virtual Charter Schools semi-annually to determine whether requests will be granted for students to enroll in Virtual Charter Schools.
The last Board review date was October 14, 2021. The current percentage of students attending Virtual Charter schools outside of the District was 1.65% as of October 4, 2021. Per District Policy LBEA, this percentage is under the 3% cutoff allowing resident students to enroll in Virtual Charters.
To notify the district of your intent to enroll at a virtual public charter school, please fill out the Virtual Charter Release form.
