School Board to Discuss Protocols and Rights for Undocumented Students – Resolution 16-1201

On November 18, 2016, the Board received an email from a Corvallis School District parent informing them that the Board of Directors of Portland Public Schools had approved a resolution designed to protect undocumented students from potential immigration enforcement actions. That parent requested that the Corvallis School District Board of Directors act similarly.

Since protecting student safety has long been a priority of the District and the Board, a resolution for the Corvallis School District has been prepared for consideration at the December 5, 2016 board meeting to be held at 6:30 pm at the District Administration Building.
