Superintendent Ryan Noss announced that Beth Martin has been hired as principal at Jefferson Elementary taking effect July 1. She is currently the principal at Adams Elementary School.
“Beth has a track record in our district as an excellent communicator and collaborative partner with staff and families,” noted Superintendent Noss. “She is able to lean into challenging issues and uphold our district values of equity and inclusion.”
Beth started her career in education as a second-grade teacher in Texas, where she taught for two years before joining the Corvallis School District as a teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. She taught for 11 years and has been the principal at Adams since July 2018. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University.
The district will immediately begin to plan for the hiring process to fill the vacancy at Adams Elementary School.
