Members Sought for Long Range Facilities Planning Committee

The Corvallis School District is now accepting applications for three at-large positions on the Long Range Facilities Planning Committee. This committee plays a key role in updating the district’s 2018 Long Range Facilities Plan, ensuring it reflects current facility conditions, educational adequacy, enrollment projections, and building capacity. Members will also contribute to a final report and recommendations for the superintendent.

In addition to the three at-large positions, the committee includes:

• A business representative
• A City of Corvallis representative
• A Benton County representative
• Two members from the 2018 Long Range Facilities Planning Committee
• Five district staff members
• One school board representative

Committee meetings will take place from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Corvallis School District Office on the following dates:

• April 16, 2025
• April 30, 2025
• May 14, 2025
• May 28, 2025
• June 4, 2025 (if needed)
• June 18, 2025 (if needed)

Applicants must live within the Corvallis School District boundaries. Community members interested in serving are encouraged to apply online by March 30, 2025.
