Free Back to School Health & Resource Fair on August 26th at Linus Pauling

On Friday, August 26, the Corvallis School District is hosting a back-to-school health & resource fair at Linus Pauling Middle School. The event is from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm and is open to anyone in the community. Food will be available to purchase from local vendors. 

All services provided are FREE. Available services include:

• Operation School Bell (clothing & hygiene kits)
• Dental & hearing screenings
• Sports physicals
• Kids vaccines, including COVID-19
• Backpacks for kids
• COVID-19 home test kits
• Community resources & booths
• Cultural events (music, dance, art)

Soccer Tournament

A day-long soccer tournament will also occur at Garfield City park from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Participants in the soccer tournament must be 13 or older, and all experience levels are welcome. To participate in the soccer tournament, please call 541-220-9686.

Transportation

The district is providing a free transportation shuttle to and from the event. This shuttle will run all day. Pick-up and drop-off times and locations can be found HERE.

Feria gratuita de salud y recursos para el regreso a la escuela el 26 de agosto en Linus Pauling

El viernes 26 de agosto, el distrito escolar de Corvallis organizará una feria de recursos y salud para el regreso a clases en la escuela secundaria Linus Pauling. El evento es de 8:30 am a 2:00 pm y está abierto a cualquier persona de la comunidad. Habrá comida disponible para comprar a vendedores locales.

Todos los servicios proporcionados son GRATIS. Los servicios disponibles incluyen:

• Exámenes físicos para deportes

• Mochilas para niños

Torneo de fútbol soccer

También se llevará a cabo un torneo de fútbol de un día en el parque urbano Garfield de 9:00 am a 2:00 pm. Los participantes en el torneo de fútbol deben tener 13 años o más, y todos los niveles de experiencia son bienvenidos. Para participar en el torneo de fútbol, llame al 541-220-9686.

Transportación

El distrito está proporcionando un servicio de transporte gratuito desde y hacia el evento. Este autobús dará servicio todo el día. Se pueden encontrar los horarios y lugares de recogida y devolución AQUÍ.
