Community Input Sought for Corvallis School District Communications Survey

To ensure accurate, timely, and reliable communications with key stakeholders, the Corvallis School District is surveying staff, families, and community members about Corvallis School District communications efforts to find out if they are getting the information they want and need from the district. 

The online community survey is available at the links below in English and Spanish and is open October 10-21. Paper copies of the surveys will also be available at the 1555 SW 35th Street district office. Participation takes less than 15 minutes and is completely anonymous.

The survey includes questions about the following:

• Communications from the district, school, and classroom
• District communication tools 
• Crisis communications 
• Two-way communication
• Overall district image

“The Corvallis School District recognizes maintaining regular proactive and responsive communication is critical for student achievement, trust, and shared responsibility for student success,” said Kelly Locey, Corvallis School District communications coordinator. “It is important that we hear from as many of our staff, families, and students as possible to find out what is working and what we need to do better.”

Staff members and district families will receive a message inviting them to participate in the survey. We encourage people to take each of the surveys they receive.
