2019-20 Kindergarten Enrollment Begins March 1/Information Nights are March 6

Children who will be 5 years old as of September 1, 2019 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten at the school in their boundary area.  In order to complete the registration process, parents will need to provide the following:

• Proof of the child’s birth date
• A copy of the child’s immunization record
• Name and phone number of the child’s physician
• Three emergency contacts for the child
• Address verification

Each of the district’s elementary schools will hold a Kindergarten Information Night on Wednesday, March 6 from 5:30-6:30 pm; during the open houses, principals and kindergarten teachers will discuss ways to prepare children for kindergarten, as well as answer questions.

Franklin K-8 will hold an information night for grades K-8 on the same night; the meeting will take place from 6:30-7:30 pm. Franklin K-8 is the district’s only non-neighborhood boundary school. As a non-neighborhood boundary school, transportation to and from school is not provided. Corvallis-resident families that wish to enroll their kindergarten student(s) at Franklin must submit a transfer request during the transfer request window from March 1 through 31. For more information about the school, please visit the school website at https://franklin.csd509j.net/about/
