Required Training for all staff
The district utilizes online training through SafeSchools to educate adults on a wide variety of topics. Follow the link below to be directed to the SafeSchools website. Once you’ve logged in, be sure to click on the “view more courses” button to see all courses available.
CPR and First Aid Training
The district offers CPR/AED training and First Aid training free of charge to employees. All employees are encouraged to attend. The certificate issued through these trainings is valid for two (2) years. Space is limited and the dates, times, and locations are subject to change.
- Employees may register for classes via Frontline/Professional Growth.
Other Health Training
Some coaches/staff may need advanced training to support students with specialized health requirements. These additional certifications are offered to support these coaches/staff:
- Epinephrine – certificate valid for 3 years
- Glucagon – certificate valid for 3 years
- Non-Injectables – certificate valid for 1 year
