Volunteers and community engagement are valued and appreciated in our schools. Whether serving on a committee or advisory board, volunteering in a classroom, or participating in your child’s school parent organization, your involvement makes a difference!
If you are interested in volunteering in our school district, we encourage you to contact the school of your choice to see what opportunities are available.
All volunteers are required to complete an application form, which includes a criminal background check. Your background check must be cleared before you may volunteer. Background checks will be good for two school years.
Once you have been cleared to volunteer, please login on the volunteer home access page to choose volunteer positions, track your hours, and update schools where you wish to volunteer.

PTA/PTO
Each school has an active Parent-Teacher Association/Organization and each one relies on many volunteers to carry out its mission of supporting the students and staff at their school. Volunteers assist with special events such as school carnivals, science and book fairs; by making copies or preparing classroom materials at the request of busy teachers; coordinating staff appreciation activities; organizing and promoting school fundraisers.
