Listening and Learning – Budget Input

The Corvallis School District is committed to engaging with our community and staying transparent throughout the budget process. We believe that effective budgeting requires valid information about the true costs of serving students and the outcomes produced for students.

From February 27 through March 31, the district provided an opportunity to submit a budget question or provide input on the district’s budget for the 2025/2026 school year. Questions are now answered in the FAQ below.

Update – February 27, 2025

The Corvallis Public Schools Foundation and the Corvallis School District hosted a community meeting to discuss:

  • How public schools are funded in Oregon.
  • The impacts of recent legislative changes on school district budgets.
  • Current opportunities to influence Oregon’s next biennial budget.
  • How the shortage of housing in Corvallis is shaping enrollment trends, impacting CSD budgets now and in the future.
