2017-18 Calendars
The school district calendar is designed to meet the instructional hour requirements set by the Oregon legislature. Calendars are reviewed and approved by the school board each year. Separate calendars are available for elementary/middle schools and high schools. Major holidays and winter/spring break are the same for all grade levels.

School start and release times
- Elementary Schools (grades K-5) 8:15 am – 2:40 pm (Early release on Fridays at 1:40 pm)
Franklin (grades K-5) 8 am – 2:30 pm (Early release on Fridays at 1:30 pm) - Middle Schools (grades 6-8) 8:55 am – 3:35 pm
Franklin (grades 6-8) 8:00 am – 2:40 pm - High Schools (grades 9-12) 8:00 am start time
Dismissal time determined by Odd/Even day schedule.
