Ms. Tara Sanders, RD has been hired as the new Food and Nutrition Services Manager. She currently works at Oregon State University as Assistant Director, Nutrition & Sustainability University Housing and Dining Services. She has been in that position since 2008.
In that role, she was a member of the dining services senior-level leadership team providing leadership in areas of nutrition, sustainability, and academic/campus partnerships. She has over three decades of food and nutrition work experience with the professional passion of improving the nutritional health of our most vulnerable and underserved communities by providing access to healthy food.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Washington University and earned a Registered Dietitian certificate in 2005. She has served on multiple professional and volunteer committees to promote access to healthy food and resources that will help individuals engage in healthy eating behaviors.
